We introduce the concept of tennis in kindergarten even though the coordination is not quite developed enough to go on court.
Mrs. Stephenson, our kindergarten teacher, used tennis in her activity center. Students could choose to 'play tennis' as one of their free time activities.
Students could choose a racquet to play with in a designated area -on the rug - for a given periof of time -note the timer in front of the box. Then other students are given a turn.
Beanbags are used and sometimes QS balls.
